Marketing Assistant

In 2023 New Forest Agricultural Show Society were awarded a 10-year contract to run 10 established campsites in the New Forest. From this Camping New Forest was launched. We believe we are in a unique position to develop the brand and ensure that the New Forest Agricultural Show Society and Camping New Forest continue to thrive and that the New Forest National Park be the number one camping destination along the south coast.

We now require a full time Marketing Assistant working out of New Park, Brockenhurst oversee and drive our marketing activities, for the New Forest Show, Camping New Forest and our Educational Activities.

You will be joining us at a time of rapid growth, with lots of opportunities to increase your knowledge and further your career This role requires a candidate who is organised, can manage their own time, keen to work under pressure, and they must be flexible and adaptable to change. The role will be extremely varied, from co-ordinating our social media on various platforms to dealing with sponsors and ensuring their needs are met. Our reputation is paramount to the success of the business, and your marketing expertise will drive our brand moving forward.

Responsibilities

Digital Marketing

· Email

· Paid socials

· Socials

· Google ads

· Website (design concept, copy and maintaining)

Printed Marketing

· Brochures

· Leaflets

· Adverts

· Posters

For the Show

· Securing sponsors

· Managing the relationship

· Sponsorship activities

About you

· Creative

· Strong eye for detail

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· A strong team player

· Demonstrable ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines

· Good organisation and planning skills

· Self-motivation and enthusiasm

· Competent using Microsoft Office.
