Care Assistant - Days and Nights

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Our care home is looking for a Care Assistant who has previous experience of working with the elderly and is comfortable around infirm patients. The successful candidate must have a caring nature and be able to perform administrative and domestic tasks, including preparing meals, maintaining the home, arranging medical appointments and cleaning rooms. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable individual to work in a team environment, receive on-the-job training and earn a competitive salary.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety and comfort of clients during the day.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming of clients.
• Ensure that clients are following their treatment plans.
• Communicate with doctors, nurses and other specialists to share progress notes and other information.
• Assist with housekeeping duties; including meal prep, laundry, bed making, dusting etc.
• Assist clients with transportation.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance, Zero hours contract

Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
