Home Furnishings Installer (Specialise in Tracks/Curtains/Blinds)

Sub contract installers required within the Home Furnishings installation team covering the North East area (including Sheffield/Leeds area)

Details of the role:

John Lewis is a leading residential Home Furnishings supplier with

nationwide cover, due to the significant volume of work we require

self-employed Home Furnishings installers for residential installations.

We are recruiting for:

Self Employed Experienced Home Furnishings installers,

We have a great product to install and always

have a focus on excellent customer service.

Competitive payment terms.

Must have own van and tools, 2 million pounds of public liability

insurance and be experienced in fitting in a domestic setting.

Flexibility on the number of days worked.

One man and larger teams required.

You will be required to collect the product and paperwork required for your installations, from your local John Lewis branch or Service Building across the UK before heading out on the road to our customers.

You will be responsible for the installation of one or a selection of the following products: Curtains, Blinds, Tracks, Poles and accessories

To a focus on delivering a market leading installation in the customers home driving efficiency and a right first time attitude. The installation teams are the last touch point of the customer journey to need to excel in customer service. Working along with those of your team, admin centre and the branch stock management partners to achieve this.

Hours of work: -

1-5 days

Monday – Saturday

Opportunities for weekend work

Pay – Competitive Market Rates to be discussed

Qualifications and Skills

Essential: -

Full (UK) driving licence

Own vehicle and appropriate tools

Desirable: -

Mobile phone and internet access

Customer facing experience

Master Fitter Qualification or Portfolio of work
