Production Operative

Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Business:

Formed in 1987, Loveless Cook Blinds is an established manufacturer of blinds and curtains. Our busy operation based in Norwich is made up of a Production, Office and Sales team. Despite the challenging economic period LCB continues to move forward, adding strength and capacity to our manufacturing team. In support of this we are looking to appoint and develop a new production operative and feel this would be a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join our team.

Main Duties:

· Assisting in all aspects in the manufacturing workshop

· Working accurately from job instruction sheets

· Handling cutting equipment and hand tools safely

· Accurate use measuring and heat sealing equipment

· Carrying out final quality checks on finished products

· Packing completed products ready for despatch

· Receiving and checking incoming goods

· Following general housekeeping guidelines

· Strict adherence to our Health & Safety guidelines

The Candidate:

The right candidate for this position will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

· Work with precision and a high level of accuracy

· Practically minded with the ability to problem solve

· Good numeracy and literacy skills

· Good observational skills, with an eye for detail

· Able to work well alone and as part of a team

· Ability to use own initiative

Hours: Monday - Friday / 08.00 - 16.30

Salary: Negotiable - Depending On Experience

Position Start Date: Immediate

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £10,400.00-£20,000.00 per year
