Manual Machinist

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are a small engineering company focused on green technologies and we have ambitious plans for growth in the future. The office is a friendly collaborative working environment and is set in a beautiful rural location in Kirtlington.

We're looking for a skilled machinist to assist with the manufacturing of test equipment and assembly tooling. This will be a varied and interesting role (with no repetitive batch work), therefore we require somebody with a proactive and positive 'can-do' attitude.

It is essential that you have experience of using manual machines including:

• Turning, milling, surface and cylindrical grinding
• Basic CNC capability also beneficial (X,Y,Z vertical mill)
• Inspection using manual equipment (micrometers, height / gauges etc)

Basic fabrication skills are desirable but not a requirement.

This role is based on site and applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

We are open to discussion with regard to the number of hours/days, employment/contract type and salary.
