Job title : Data Validation Analyst / Junior Data Analyst

Location: Flexible. Office based in Lincoln for hybrid working or can be open to fully Remote role for the right candidate

Contract length: 6 Month Rolling Contract (Likely to be extended)

Pay rate: £15 per hour PAYE / £19 per hour Umbrella

Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently seeking a Data Validation Analyst / Junior Data Analyst on behalf of a well established organisation in the Energy sector on a 6 month rolling contract. The role can be open to hybrid working in their Lincoln office or potentially fully remote for the right candidate.

The main purpose of this role will be to l iaise with the team to discuss their needs regarding data quality in their processes, then assisting them on improving quality by combining data sets, analysing, and presenting findings. The successful candidate will also need to create tools and dashboards to allow the team to monitor quality in future.

This is an ideal role for a candidate looking to pursue a future career as a Data Analyst.

Responsibilities:
Create tools and dashboards to allow the team to monitor data
Responsible for creating and maintaining analysis and reporting tools
Responsible for analysing data quality under guidance and instruction
Researches, analyses, consolidates and interprets data using statistical and data analytics methods to create information on business-relevant topics, e.g. market environment, operational process and equipment performance etc.
Acquires data from primary or secondary data sources and maintains databases/data systems.
Operates and optimises pre-defined tools, applications and databases/data management systems.
Creates reports and communicates results to various internal and/or external stakeholders (e.g. management, customers).

Key Skills / Experience Required:
Great communication and demo skills
Experience in SQL (Essential), Tableau (Desirable), Snowflake (Desirable) and similar
Previous experience in creating tools/dashboards for data validation and analysis
Previous experience in collating and analysing data under guidance and instruction
SAP table experience ideal
Focused and results driven
