Early Years Educator / Nursery Nurse

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Sweetpeas Early Years Provision, Yeoford Community Hall, Yeoford, Crediton, EX17 5HY.

Two Early Years Educators are required. The Setting caters for 25 children between 4 months and five years.

You will:

Provide the children with a safe, secure and home-like environment

Operate a keyworker system and liaise with parents/carers and senior staff

Plan, organise and implement a programme of activities to meet the needs of this age group

Work as part of a highly motivated, friendly, welcoming and professional team You will ideally need to:

Hold a full and relevant early years and childcare qualification at Level 3 (such as an Early Years Educator qualification, Level 3 Diploma for the Children & Young People’s Workforce), or equivalent qualification or training could be provided for the right candidate.

Have gained experience within a nursery setting

Have proven organisational skills

Experience / training in working with babies & young children
