Senior Data Scientist

Contract vacancy. Initial 6 months.

£800 pd Outside IR35

Senior Data Scientist required to be part of a project team working on the overhaul and upgrading of this business's data capabilities.

Employing over 1000 people, and a history of growth and development stretching over 50 years, they have invested over £50 million in infrastructure over recent years. This data programme is part of that investment.

The Senior Data Scientist will be working closely with the data leadership to create new predictive analytics models and build best-in-class predictive Machine Learning capabilities. You will have strong Python &/or R skills as well as experience with Alteryx tools (or similar). You will also take responsibility for the redevelopment of the reporting suite for the business. This will include all reporting requirements from stock reporting (SKU reporting) to performance reporting for the board.

This position will need someone to be on-site at least 2-3 days per week.
